WHERE
Artazu, Navarra, Spain
The Lopez de Lacalle family has been farming in the village of Artazu, in the foothills of the Pyrenees in northern Navarra, for generations. Their estate is certified organic — no pesticides, no herbicides — and their 25-year-old Garnacha Blanca vines grow in clay-limestone soils that give the wines their characteristic freshness and mineral edge. Everything is harvested by hand in small batches and fermented with native yeast.
The Ah-So white is exactly what a good everyday white should be: dry, lively, and refreshing, with pear, apple, lemon, melon, and a whisper of honey. It comes in a 250ml can — the right amount for one person on a Tuesday, or two people sharing before dinner. No corkscrew, no planning required. Just crack it open and enjoy it cold.
Pack it in a picnic bag, a beach tote, or the side pocket of a hiking pack. It's the kind of wine that fits wherever you're going.
