A polycultural farm of about 12 hectares mainly in the village of Arras in France's Northern Rhone Valley. Etienne also produces Saint Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage Blanc.
Great care is taken in vineyard management throughout each vintage. Harvest is by hand, pressing is in vertical basket press, fermentation is in concrete vats, aging is on lees for approximately 12 months in demi muids. The wine is unfined and unfiltered, and a pinch of sulfur is added before bottling for safe travels.
Etienne's wines are showing the mark of his time, place, and efforts in his appellations.
