Every year, on the third Thursday of November...

There's a page from a Storypeople book by Brian Andreas that says, “There came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt every heartbeat in the room and after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger.”
We feel part of something much bigger every day that we have the honor of bridging the connection between small family wineries and you.
Our Dahling Wine Bundle this month is a thematic journey inspired by the smart, silly 1990 film, My Blue Heaven, written by Nora Ephron. The quote that inspired the bundle, “Thanksgiving is very big with the Italians. Turkey caccitore, sweet potato parmesan…” goes on and on with tickling madness. Giggles aside, we truly believe that the beautiful chaos of native Italian varieties are the key to making a traditional Thanksgiving meal dance. Let Glera, Zibibbo, Grasparossa, Grignolino, Ruché, and a hearty rhubarb-forward Piemonte Amaro be your partners in the waltz.
The newborn vintage of Nouveau will roll through our door this Monday, though we legally can't sell it until this Thursday, the 20th, Beaujolais Day, thanks to a funny old law we find fun to follow for tradition's sake. We've procured more cases than ever of our steadfast favorites from Pierre-Marie Chermette and La Grosse Pierre. More info is below. :-)
We're collecting non-perishables for Grandma's Love, run by a dear neighbor who supports children and their families in underserved communities all year long. If you'd like to contribute, the box is right by the front door.
There's a panoramic tasting today that includes seven wines, four spirits, and two knowledgeable women, Elena & Kasia, at the helm. You'll find Champagne, Alta Langa Rosé, an aromatic Alto Adige Bianco, Cali Albariño, a Pinot Noir-lover's Valtellina Nebbiolo, Areni from Armenia, Susumaniello from Salento…botanic Gin, peaty Scotch, Carolina Cream, and an Alpine Aperitivo…not necessarily in that order. Come for the tasting, stay for the heartbeat.
We'll see you at the shop!

Every year, on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveau, the first wine of the vintage, fresh as a baby, is legally “released”.
Last November we put together pretty packs featuring one of each of the three bottlings we've pledged our allegiance to and we'll be doing that again. We lucked into some magnums this year, too!
All are available for purchase In-Store & Online beginning Thursday Nov 20th.
Email us at [email protected] or text the shop at 631.886.7345 if you'd like to reserve stock.
