We're writing to you from Between Two Strolls, well not nearly symmetrically between them since the last one was two weeks ago and the next one is Today…
Third Avenue's Summer Strolls are pretty much a great big block party and we're riding with a “Treasure Hunter” theme, which doesn't feel far-fetched since our mission is to fill our shelves with gems and to share them with you. Like the ones poured by Donald at the last Stroll including a long-loved Cava Rosado from Josep Foraster featuring the Trepat grape, a nearly abandoned regional heritage variety of northeast Spain's Conca de Barbara that Foraster is dedicated to show the capability and brilliance of- he won't let Trepat go the way of the dinosaurs on his watch!
Speaking of dinosaurs, some mini “fossil” ones along with seashells, mineral stones, and shiny chocolate coins are buried in big buckets of sand, ready to be “hunted”~ balloons from Marc of Party Planit, a basket of Puka necklaces, and a handful of other stations on the Treasure Hunter's Map will be happening, too…Jesse of Savio Soares, Jonathan of Tip Top, and James of Brooklyn Kura will be sharing delicious tastes of all kinds.
Sure, it's a little chaos, but so is life and it's beautiful.
