Central Italy’s region of Marche on the Adriatic coast, specifically in Matelica, still the mountains, just before the sea.  Marco Gatti’s less than 20 acres are located on the slopes of Mount San Vicino- in a perfect little microclimate of cold winters and warm summers.

Marco wanted to make wine for food, and to show the potential of his region.
