WHO
Masintin was founded in 2017 by four friends who call themselves los locos — three Belgians and the Chilean winemaker Diego Urra Gosselin. The whole point is to rescue forgotten sites in Maule and Itata: old gobelet vines, no irrigation, farmed the old way. Their Truquilemu fruit comes from Waldo Orellana, who still works his vineyard by hand and with a horse.
