The Badenhorts are based at Kalmoesfontein farm in the Paardeberg area of Swartland’s granite hills, South Africa.
Adi Badenhorst wanted to find a way to express the quality fruit of Swartland that, often enough, ends up in bulk bag-in-box blends. He thought he could really make something shine yet remain very affordable with just a little extra attention.
Each grape is vinified separately, coming into its own before blending. Farming, winemaking, and overall philosophy is based on natural methods.
