WHO
Cantine Amato has farmed in Sicily since 1927, now run by young winemaker Rosario Amato alongside his father Salvatore. The Nocera comes from their own seaside vineyard at Patti, less than a kilometer from the water, on sandy soil ringed by olive and citrus trees. The label nods to Colapesce, the Sicilian legend of the fisherman who dove down to hold up the island.
