St. Aubin 1er Cru from one of Burgundy's most respected white wine families. 2022 is the finest vintage Damien Colin can remember making here. Pear, orange oil, fresh bread, white flowers — long, racy, and built to age.

Domaine Marc Colin was founded in 1970 in the village of Saint-Aubin, and today spans 26 appellations across the Côte de Beaune — including parcels in Chassagne, Puligny, and even a sliver of Montrachet. Some of these vineyards have been in the family for over a century. The domaine is now in the hands of Damien and Caroline Colin, who farm organically and keep intervention in the cellar to a minimum. No heavy oak, no shortcuts.
En Montceau is one of the quieter names in the St. Aubin 1er Cru lineup, but 2022 made a lot of people pay attention. Deep marl soils, restrained winemaking, and a vintage that Damien Colin has called the finest he can remember here. The wine mingles pear, orange oil and lemon with freshly baked bread and white flowers, then opens into a medium to full-bodied palate that's satiny, layered, and persistently long.
Drink it now with something rich — roast chicken, lobster, a proper fish course — or cellar it for 5-10 years and come back to something even better.
