Domaine Bernard Reverdy et Fils has been making Sancerre from the village of Verdigny for generations — the family tree goes back to the 16th century, and Romain Reverdy, grandson of Bernard, now tends the 19-hectare estate. The blanc is assembled from parcels across three distinct soil types — caillottes (stony chalk), terres blanches (chalky clay), and a small portion of silex — which together give the wine both freshness and texture.
