In Oregon's Coast Range, Willamette Valley AVA of McMinnville.  Willamette Valley is turning out some of the best domestic wines (in our our humble opinion!), thanks to its diverse soil composition- volcanic, marine sediment, and the list goes on.  Its climate provides a perfectly long and steady ripening period, partially from the cooling effect of the Van Duzer Corridor, the valley's "natural air conditioning system".
