60% Barbera, 30% Croatina, 10% Uve Rare grown in alkaline limestone soil.

In the hills of Colli Piacentini, Emilia-Romagna just between the Po River and the Apennine mountain range.

The family has produced wine for a handful of generations and they are proud of it.  Their label, unchanged since the 50's, features images of little coins- tokens of victories in wine competitions they have won since the 1800s.

The wine is made non-vintage, a blend of the best of recent vintages.

Organically, naturally, without sulfites as it states on the label that hasn't been changed since the 50s- senza solfiti aggiunti.
