Near the sea in the sand-rich soil (locally called "ferretti") of Italy's southeast corner of Sicily, Vittoria.

To express the Sicilian terroir in a pure way with added texture and ripeness.

Grapes are dried in the sun both on the vine and on straw mats for a few weeks before going through a soft pressing and gentle fermentation.  Aged in great big Slavonian oak botti (approx 3,000 liters).
