Amarone made “according to Marco” it is deep yet lithe. Not your grandfather’s Amarone
Corvina, Corinone, and Rondinella grapes trained in a a pergoletta system, more innovative and practical than traditional pergola training and there is no room between canopies for vines to hang and underripe grapes to slide by.
In Veneto’s Valpolicella Classico region, specifically in the town of Fumane with its high elevations and calcareous soils.
Marco is the 5th generation of an historic Amarone producer. He set out on his own to begin this project because he wanted to show that Amarone could be more than a palate bomb. He wanted to make Amarone that could be enjoyed with food, not so heavy that it feels like food itself.
